Cave Story is such a good game.
I just recently beat Cave Story original and Cave Story+ on steam, both with best ending AFTER COUNTLESS DEATHS. I barely defeated Wind Fortress with 2HP left. Despite the heart attack, I truly enjoyed this cute piece of game and I think it deserves a fan art. And I absolutely love the soundtrack, especially Running Hell and Wind Fortress.
I’m also not ready for hard mode, probably never will. OTL
