Huntress Wizard, I have always like her designs.

A rough drawing of a genderbent Jotaro from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. I just like the puffy hair that other artists drew her and I wanted to draw it myself. (and that’s why she’s not wearing her trademark cap from her male counterpart)

It hurts so much. (:3_ヽ)_

Hello! I'm Rose, but I'm also PickFairy. PickFairy is my mlp artist page, and I saw all your mlp art through search. I love it, and the rest of your work is really good too :3 I noticed on DA you weren't sure how to do commissions at first, but what about now? I'm just starting to do commissions and would love some advise. How did you really understand how to do it? When? What helped you along the way? -- Thanks!

Hi there! Thanks for liking my MLP art, I’m also glad you like my other stuff too. :)

I’ve gotten advices of my own from my artist friends (with a few non-artists) and a bit of researching online. I suppose one thing I could say about opening commission is to have confidence in the rate you’re charging if you think those numbers are equivalent to your skills and time. Especially if you’re a professional you have to show value to your work and never undercharge yourself.

Admittedly few years ago, as a budding artist who was still studying and self aware that her own skills aren’t close to being a pro, I opened commissions in a local comic event by charging myself with an insanely under priced value. Granted I don’t think my art was worth much back then but I’m talking about a traditionally marker colored characters commission for only….(brace yourself) RM10 which is about USD3+- , that is crazy and therefor shall not be repeat again as it might give people the wrong idea on how to pay artists and probably ruin the market.(credit to my friends who knocked some sense into me lol ^^;) One of the best solutions is to keep honing your skills and when you think you’re ready and is capable of charging the rate you’re satisfied with then you may proceed to do so.

To sum it up, just charge the rate that you’re comfortable with without ruining the market value. If you’re uncertain about yourself, you could just start out with something simple and charge lower. There are people who draw chibi commissions and they’re generally cheaper cause it takes less time to draw. (but nonetheless beautiful based on the ones I have seen)

I hope my answers are satisfactory. I took quite some time to type this out as I’m pretty bad with words and it kinda turned into a small essay….that aside, I wish you all the best in opening your own commissions and hope that you receive a good outcome. If anything, just keep trying and things will eventually get better. :) Good luck!

Oh my I love your drawing style

Thanks. <3 My style is slowly evolving but I hope to find one that suits me most. :)

I grew up with a rounder Sonic that has shorter legs.
I’m still looking forward to Sonic Boom because I actually like some of the new designs, particularly Amy’s.
Also a friend of mine likes to call the classic Sonic as ‘Fat Sonic’.

Modern Adventure Time. I enjoyed drawing these. :)

Hi there! I wanted to let you know I love your human versions of MLP characters. They're so cute and full of life~! You're a great artist! Your Pinkie Pie is so adorable, and it inspired me to draw my own human Pinkie Pie. Thanks for the inspiration and the cool art~!

Aaaw thanks!! I’m sorry I haven’t been active in drawing MLP lately but I’m glad my old works still help inspire you! You’re very welcome, I hope you will keep producing more art of your own. :)

My friends inspired me. This is half based on the official Adventure Time comic which you can read the previews here to get the full joke.

I’m also sorry for ruining Marceline’s character. (She’s also my fav) m(- -)m
