Hello Everyone! I’ve just completed my packing and last-minute checks of my luggage before I leave for my flight to Toronto tomorrow morning, so here’s some photos of the books Saph and myself will be selling at TCAF!

Saph’s book, @venturer.com, is pretty thick (almost 60+ pages if I remember correctly) and in full colour, and will be going for 10 CND a book. My books on the other hand are monotone will be sold at 4 CND (Across The Causeway, The Road Not Taken) and 6 CND (Across The Causeway 2) respectively.

We’re located at Booth 214, so please give us some love if you’ll be headed to the Toronto Reference Library this weekend!

…Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a 22 hour flight to look forward to! See you at TCAF!

Now that the last hurdle has been cleared (Visa received!), I guess it’s safe to post this particular entry…and I’m going to just say it here to make it official: I’M GOING TO TCAF!

The original plan was for Saph and I was to go on a trip to Toronto, Canada, that would coincide with TCAF…but somewhere along the way Saph asked me to try my luck and apply for a booth.

I honestly never thought that I’d make it through the selection process (since the number of applicants increase every year!) so you can only imagine my (belated) elation when I received my booth confirmation e-mail (note: I was in the lab when I read the e-mail so I had to suppress my urge to run around in circles while screaming until lunchtime).

So yeah, if you happen to be a Torontoian (does that term exist?) or will be at TCAF, so drop by my booth! Even if it’s just to say hello!

I’m still in the process of putting together my book, but I’ll definitely be posting up more stuff in the days leading up to TCAF! /goes back to editing pages

Max did a thing about us going to TCAF!(I’m also known as Saph among my peers, short for Sapphire) I can’t believe it’s now less than a month. I’m not sure how many of my followers are from Toronto or planning to go to TCAF but do drop by and say hi if you are! :)

I’ve finally completed all 44 colored comic pages in 2 months….OTL Now all that is left to do is the cover and some editing. I can’t believe I survived this…

…………….out of fun, I’ve decided to draw the ‘official humanized MLP’(or the spin-off that is based on MLP) designs and…I can’t bring myself to color her skin blue….OTL

I’m not really sure what to expect from this series. I have to admit, like most people I thought it’s a joke too, but now that it’s been pretty much confirmed I guess I’ll have to watch it first before jumping to any conclusion.

Just an update/preview on what I’ve been doing for TCAF, I’m now 55% done with this comic. Also you can see how my draft looks like before I proceed on inking and coloring it.

As much as I love drawing original characters, I do miss drawing fan arts. ;_; I’m actually finishing a page per day, and 4 pages during weekends. Once I’m done with this, I’m gonna celebrate by drawing tons of things(mostly fan arts) that I’ve been wanting to but unable at the moment.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates these past few days. Remember when I said I’m rushing for an event on May and will be making an announcement regarding on what I’ve been up to? Yeah, that post. lD

So here is what it is, I’m going to TCAF(Toronto Comic Art Festival) and will be having a booth there with a friend. I’m still relatively new on TCAF and am frankly, nervous and excited at the same time since this is my first time attending an event out of my own country. I still have tons of preparation to do and there’s no time to waste.

I promised I will get back on updating things once I’m done settling with the important stuff. Hopefully most of the things will be sort out by the mid of April.
